FAQ

Questions fleets ask us

How does GX-6 work? What makes Weigh2x different?
GX-6 is built on first principles of physics: it measures the microscopic strain (deflection) of the truck axle itself — roughly a hundred times smaller than the travel of springs or other suspension parts. Proprietary filtering removes road noise and vehicle-specific influences; with the per-vehicle software calibration, accuracy then holds across operating conditions. That direct measurement principle is the core of our accuracy.
How accurate is GX-6?
The sensor itself is rated ±0.3 % F.S. (typ.) / ±0.5 % F.S. (max). After professional installation and calibration, the system is expected to stay within ±1.5 % F.S.; field comparisons with weighbridges on mining and freight trucks typically show 1–2 % agreement. GX-6 is designed for operational load management and is not a certified legal-for-trade weighing instrument.
Can GX-6 be installed on my vehicle?
GX-6 is designed for square-section axles on trucks and commercial vehicles. Installation is performed with dedicated adhesive bonding at the load-bearing point of each axle — no drilling, welding or structural modification. Tell us your axle type if you are unsure.
How long does installation take?
The physical bonding is quick, but the adhesive needs to cure — typically around 24 hours — to guarantee long-term data stability. Calibration is then completed in software and takes a short time.
How does the system help prevent overloading?
The cab terminal shows live weight during loading, so the driver or loader can stop as the legal limit is reached — avoiding fines and the vehicle damage caused by overloading. Axle-level data also catches uneven loading.
Can the data be exported or connected to my management system?
Yes. Load data is available over CAN and through our platform APIs for integration with fleet management, telematics and compliance systems. Cloud dashboards and data history are available per region.
Can the system be upgraded in the future?
Yes. GX-6 supports online firmware upgrades, and the hardware roadmap adds a lateral acceleration sensor to estimate rollover risk from live load data — a critical input for advanced driver-assistance systems.
Does the system require daily maintenance?
No. GX-6 is a fully solid-state system with no moving parts. A routine re-calibration (about every 6 months or after major axle service) is recommended.
